I’ve been a Plymouth resident since 2005 and have spent much of my life enjoying the Three Rivers park system. I've experienced firsthand the incredible opportunities our parks provide, from running and skiing races at Elm Creek, Hyland, Baker, and Gale Woods to volunteering with Park Patrol for several years, our local parks have played a major role in my life and shaped my commitment to community service.

Today, I continue to enjoy the park system with my family. Whether running, walking, and biking on the Luce Line Trail, visiting Eastman and Richardson Nature Centers, attending events at Gale Woods, or spending time at French Regional Park, I see every day how our parks enrich lives, strengthen communities, and connect people to nature. Watching my children explore trails, playgrounds, fishing spots, and natural spaces has reinforced my commitment to preserving these opportunities for future generations.

I am a graduate of Wayzata High School and the University of Minnesota Morris, where I earned bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Psychology, along with a minor in History. My education taught me the importance of understanding people, building strong communities, and making thoughtful decisions that balance long-term stewardship with the needs of today's residents.

As your commissioner, I will focus on:

• Protecting and enhancing our natural resources.

• Maintaining safe, accessible, and high-quality parks and trails for everyone.

• Supporting family-friendly recreation and outdoor education.

• Ensuring responsible financial stewardship of taxpayer resources.

• Listening to all residents and keeping community voices at the center of decision-making.

Three Rivers Parks belong to all of us. I believe strong parks are built by staying connected to the people who use them, and I will work to ensure our community voices are always heard and valued. I am committed to being an accessible, responsive commissioner who listens, collaborates, and works to ensure our parks continue to thrive for generations to come.
